Have questions? We have answers!
Do I really need to hire a DJ, can’t I just play a Spotify playlist?
You can… you will still need to rent all of the equipment, have someone adjust the volume and make announcements and of course help with the planning or coordinating. The cost to rent two sets of everything (one for a backup) that is needed to perform a wedding is about as expensive as what a DJ charges.
What does a typically DJ charge for a wedding?
The cost to hire a DJ varies widely… from as little as a couple of hundred dollars to as much as several thousand dollars. Remember, sometimes you get what you pay for and the best way to know is to read online reviews from past clients and see what they have to say about their experience. Click Here to view our pricing.
Are online reviews important when booking a DJ?
If you have never been to a wedding that they have performed at, than absolutely! It is so easy and inexpensive to get online reviews I wonder why anyone would not be getting them? Online reviews are like credit… no reviews should be considered just as bad as negative reviews. Click Here to read what past clients think about working with us!
Do all DJs steal the spotlight of the event by talking/singing on the mic and playing games?
Nope… I am as interactive as you want me to be. I can lead line dances if you would like, or I can stay being my DJ booth and keep the party rolling from there. If I am on the mic it is for a very specific purpose. I do not use the mic just to hear my voice!
Has DJ Ray done an event at my venue?
Most likely I have… I have performed at most area venues but with new ones opening each year there is a chance that I haven’t.
Do I have to do all of the traditional events at my wedding?
No! We will work together and set a timeline with only the important events to you and if there are any special unique things you would like to add we will make that happen as well.
